Daily Itinerary Summary

 
Day 01: Entry Beijing
Meeting on arrival and check in at the well selected hotel. The left hours of the day if any are on your side for free individual arrangements.

Day 02: Beijing
Today's delightful highlights cover the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. You will be served Beijing Duck for dinner at the Quan Ju De Restaurant, followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day 03: Beijing
One of the most important activities for the entire Beijing Travel is the brief hiking at the Great Wall, Badaling section. Sichuan food is arranged for lunch at a nice restaurant after a short drive. Continue the visit to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area.

Day 04: Beijing Xian
This morning, you will marvel at the Summer Palace and the Lama Temple. Then leave for Xian by flight and transfer to the well selected hotel. This evening we will offer you a buffet dinner at your hotel as the welcome dinner to this ancient capital.

Day 05: Xian
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses unearthed near Xian is thought to be one of the great wonders of China and of the world. Drive through highway back to downtown to a decent restaurant to have well prepared food instead of the mass produced food around the site. Have a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall in the afternoon. Enjoy the Tang Dyansty Dinner Show in Tang Dyansty Palace in the evening.

Day 06: Xian
Continue Xian city tour to visit the Provincial History Museum, the Great Mosque and a local family. The a la carte lunch is served at a local fancy restaurant.

Day 07: Xian  Dunhuang
Xian city tours will be wrapped up after the visit to the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport. After lunch, leave for Dunhuang by flight and transfer to the hotel.

Day 08: Dunhuang  Turpan
You will experience a short camel-ride along the Echoing Sand Dune to reach the Crescent Lake. Have a tour to one of the greatest Buddhism grottoes - the Mogao Grottoes. Leave for Turpan by overnight soft sleeper train.

Day 09: Turpan
Be met at the railway station and transfer to check in at the well-selected hotel. After enjoying the breakfast at the hotel, take tour to the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda.

Day 10: Turpan
Take the full day to take a city tour to visit the Gaochang Ruins, the Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave, the Flaming Hill and a local bazaar.

Day 11: Turpan  Korla
Transfer to Korla and enjoy the Gobi scenery en route. Have a visit to the Tiemen Pass in Korla.

Day 12: Korla  Minfeng
Transfer to Minfeng County through the Taklamakan Desert and enjoy the scenery of sand dune. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Minfeng  Hetian
On the way to Hetian, you can visit a local bazaar and the unique minority people's costume in Yutian County. Visit the Silk Village, hundred years' old walnut tree and Paper Making.

Day 14: Hetian  Kashgar
Transfer to Kashgar. En route, have a visit to the Yarkant King Mausoleum and the Yingisar Uigur Knife Making.

Day 15: Kashgar  karakuri  Kashgar
Transfer to visit the Karakuri Lake, and then return to Kashgar.

Day 16: Kashgar  Urumqi
Take tour to the famous Sunday Market, the Id Kah Mosque and the Abakh Khoja Tomb. Leave for Urumqi by flight and check in at the hotel.

Day 17: Urumqi  Shanghai
Leave for Shanghai by morning flight and check in at the well selected hotel. Afternoon is left off schedule for individule activities.

Day 18: Shanghai
Drive to visit the Yuyuan Garden and the Shanghai Museum. Take a Huangpu River cruise after lunch. The Farewell Dinner is served at the Wang Bao He Restaurant which has a history of around 260 years of serving the best Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner is followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.

Day 19: Shanghai. Exit
Be at leisure until the hotel-airport transfer is arranged for you according to your homebound flight schedule.
